1 PERCENT TOURNAMENT

The goal is to establish a successful geographically inclusive integrated recruiting program through a co-operation of Sponsors, Professional teams, Colleges / Universities, and Academy teams. There are a lot of high-level talent out there in the world that are without vital exposure to professional teams, academy teams, and colleges / universities. We aim to change this narrative starting with our first event on July 9 - 18, 2025.

As stated, this event is a 10-day event (7-1-1-1). The first 7 days consist of tournament play. The tournament will begin with group stage which will then lead into the knockout stage and filter down to the final's stages. The top players (1%) from the tournament play with regards to their position on the field but without regard to their club affiliation will be selected as part of the 1 Percent that will play in the exhibition matches. The 8th day of the event will consist of Seminars with speakers at the professional and collegiate level which will create a platform for Q&A. The 9th and 10th days of the event is dedicated to the 1 percental of players selected. Day 9 will allow them to showcase their technical abilities in a day filled with various drills while the 10th day is exhibition matches.

Why this event? North America is still behind when it comes to Futbol exposure in comparison to the rest of the world. The market here is largely untapped due to lack of exposure and a minimal footprint of professional players from North America. The sport is growing in the US and Canada while rapidly producing high level talent that need events like the 1 Percent to showcase themselves. The world is invited to New York to participate at a unique event in one of the most culturally diverse state while garnering awareness for future stars and fan base.
